At Alpha Gamma Rho, we understand the importance of giving back to the community. Each year, we participate in many philanthropic events, donating many hours of our time. We also donate $100 dollars each year to the National FFA and hold events to donate money to other organizations as well.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is our Chapters major Philanthropy.
This past Semester we held "Say What? Karaoke!" with Alpha Xi Delta Sorority to benefit that Children's Hospital at Dartmouth. Together, we raised over $500. We also donated our time in the Town of Lee Easter Egg Hunt, the Town of Lee Fishing Derby, University of New Hampshire's Little Royal Competition, The UNH FFA Interscholastics and participated in many other philanthropy events on campus. In the fall we have plans to participate in a philanthropy to raise money and awareness for the Susan G. Komen Fight for a Cure for Breast Cancer and plan to walk in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Societie's "Light the Night."
