Here at Omega, we take Academics very seriously. All new members are required to complete a minimum of four study hours per week, while active members complete hours based on their previous semesters grade point average. We hold educational workshops regularly, and our house contains a library/study lounge to promote learning and provide a quiet space to get work done. While we value fun at the house, we also realize that Academics are the main reason for attending college and that Alpha Gamma Rho is supposed to enhance the college experience, not hinder it.

Each semester, Alpha Gamma Rho awards those members who have gone above and beyond. Members receive awards for Highest Member, Highest New Member and Most Improved. Each recepient is award a 250$ scholarship. Once a year, members are also recognized for Highest New Member, Sophomore, Junior and Senior which also receive 250$ scholarships.
